TankMate v2 Replacement Battery

2.5 years from my old 3.6V Lithium Battery

My Tankmate V2 with its 3.6V Lithium Battery has been reading the tank-level about 3 times per day for the last 2.5 years.
The battery needs replacing according to the App, but it is still working fine. :-)
Today decided that I should purchase the "3 x AA battery pack" so I can swap out the Lithium battery when it dies.

Waist of time and money

Chews through the cells, will just buy one like the original and be done with it.

Wasn’t what I thought, nothing special about the holder very cheaply made Ali express type, he mentions in another review regarding its “special” na it ain’t just a little plug so you can remove it easily I guess so you can replace the very expensive lithium ultimate batteries regularly. My unit reads twice a day, I got almost a week, one day on cheap Bunnings batteries (for a laugh I decided to try). I did email regarding questions before I purchased with no response.

Note that the battery pack has zero effect on the battery life / power consumption. It's just an adapter (holder) for the cells. It has no ability to change the power consumption of the device it is connected to. If the unit is drawing too much power - the issue lies elsewhere - please get in touch to discuss some repair options.
